The beautiful dictum about education is that no one can take the acquired education away from a person and the more one gives education away the more it enriches a person blazing the darkness of ignorance.

Being the Principal of St. Xavier’s High School, Nayabazar, Cuttack. I am proud and privileged to strive hard and make strenuous effort to counter the upcoming challenges on my way in upholding and uplifting the dignity of my school. I must facilitate every child the opportunity come on their way for acquiring knowledge and skill that will enable them to enhance their inner potential and help them become successful members of society.

Students , if given an apt platform , I believe , will become the harbinger of a new era adorned with the ethics of life. What in fact, they need for their development is a belief that they can acquire through education if guided and nurtured properly.

School doesn’t just involve letters and numbers but teachers and the system where students are taught critical thinking, honesty and humanitarianism , the basic attributes remain intact with the taught throughout life.

I believe in the role of education that includes preparing students the values and challenges of 21st century, learning strategies and techniques as well as adequate preparation for future career prospects.

In order to develop social and emotional skills in between early child hood and young adult hood, various socio emotional learning activities are carried out and the children are encouraged to execute those in order to utilize their learning aspect for their liveli hood.

Last but not least , the Governing body of the school does always have a positive impact on the school parenting and executing policies to run the school in a smoother way. Above all, the combined efforts of the school management , the sincerity of the Non teaching staff members , the love and passion of teachers for teaching and the latent zeal to discover new things by students along with the audio visual education , make our school a numero one in the city spreading its fragrance far and wide and achieve excellence in the field of education.
